leading up to February 10

On Monday night, dad took Fina with him to a fundraising dinner thing for athletics at his university at Boston Pizza. It was a nice celebratory meal for Fina's first exam day ever.

On Tuesday, we did not do any school work. It was our regular Tuesday outdoor playgroup day, but a bunch of our members were sick or otherwise engages. So Fina and I went to dad's school for a lunch time concert. It was a piano duet by Schubert. Fantasy in F Min, D940. It was lovely

Then we took our friend SF out to play in the forest and on the river there for about an hour and a half. It was nice and sheltered and not too cold.

It was a bit chilly (with a daytime high of -17 C, feels like -25, with 15km winds from the North, but we have been out in WAY worse than that!) but not bad at all. And so nice and sunny.

Here they are, SF teaching Fina to sword fight.

On Wednesday, Olaf came to story time at our local library. Fun!

And we got out to play for a while with a little boy and his mom after story time at the big sledding hill at our park.

A shout out to our followers. Thanks for being part of the whole exam conversation so far. Fina is so happy that everyone cares about her so much and she has enjoyed hearing your comments.
